This post discusses how loving God and the fear of showcasing my faith is something I’ve struggled with for most of my life.

I have always struggled with my faith and loving God, not in the way you might think, though.
My struggles have been around being open and honest about it.
For most of my life, I’ve hidden my beliefs for fear of offending others.
No more…
I’ve never fit in with the traditional model of God and church.
I’ve never resonated much with the bible.
At church, I always felt out of place.
Things felt fake.
For most of my life, I felt something within that I couldn’t explain.
Something pulling me forward.
I’ve come to realize now it’s my connection with God.
We all have this within us.
Right there, waiting to be discovered. The power of faith is insurmountable.

Most of us have been taught about God in formal or strict environments.
Boundaries and gatekeepers.
I despise it.
This doesn’t mean I entirely disregard religions and their wisdom.
Not at all.
The difference is that I now understand nothing keeps us from God but ourselves.
We’ve all been greatly misled on how we connect with our Creator.
It troubles me as I see all the nonsense done in the name of God and faith.
We’ve been led away from the source that sustains and uplifts us.
My 25th episode of Order Within will be diving into these very concepts.
God compared to religion.
I know these topics can be challenging for a lot of people.
I know coming to terms with the idea of a Creator is very hard too.
It’s scary to consider something so much larger than ourselves.
It’s scary to think everything in our life matters.
Accountability and connection are terrifying.
I understand why many resist these ideas and reject the outright existence of a Creator.
It gives us the feeling of control we crave.
But we’ve reached a point where we can’t evolve any further without this fundamental knowledge.
God is a living truth.
We must live it.
No amount of repetitive tasks and showing up to church will replace the hard work of living truthfully with love in our hearts.
It’s hard work loving people.
I’m determined to help others cultivate this great love within.
The Kingdom of Heaven is within us.
Our being is the kingdom, and God is our keeper.
We all have these treasures of the self to share.
Only when we learn to look within can we find the endless wealth of being.
You have all that you need.
Embrace it.
I feel this one might ruffle a few feathers, but we shall see!
What struggles have you had with these ideas?
